Resource Mobilization
Accelerating resource mobilization at scale is a vital response to some of our most significant crises, including global health, food security, and climate change. Belmont Fundraising brings deep, practical expertise to every assignment—rooted in decades of frontline experience supporting global development and humanitarian goals.
In various roles, our CEO, Harvey Duthie, has led high-impact initiatives with a wide range of international organisations, delivering strategic counsel, workshops, and pro bono support to tackle some of the world’s most urgent challenges:

ActionAid Ireland – Designed a Major Donor Fundraising Plan and provided coaching to leadership on its delivery

CGIAR – Developed a comprehensive resource mobilisation strategy to support growth in funding from $1 billion to $2 billion, advancing global agricultural research.

Edmund Rice Development – capacity building and coaching for high-value income growth.

Gates Foundation, CHAMPS, and COMSA – Supported a $1 billion pilot initiative focused on improving the quality and accuracy of global health data.

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Geneva – Provided pro bono strategic fundraising counsel to the Private Sector Resource Mobilization office.

International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (Benefit Sharing Fund) – Designed and facilitated a Ministerial Forum on the margins of the World Food Summit in Rome, promoting sustainable agriculture for smallholder farmers, a project which secured $12.5 million over its first 18 months.
